Variant selection

Variant Features Price
B-101 Non-Silencer Base model, no silencer (louder operation) $599
Super Deluxe Silencer + ON/OFF Switch Silencer + convenient ON/OFF switch for pause between lesions $699
B-102 Silencer Premium silencer version (quietest operation) $759

How to choose: For pediatric ENT + anxious patients, Silencer variants (B-102 or Super Deluxe) are strongly preferred — the loud hiss of unsilenced cryogun releases is a common patient-anxiety source. For high-volume dermatology + OB-GYN work where cost matters more than sound, B-101 Non-Silencer is fine. Super Deluxe adds an ON/OFF switch that's useful for treating multiple lesions in one session without keeping trigger pressed.

FAQ

Which cryogen do I use — CO₂ or N₂O?

Both compatible. N₂O gives colder probe tip (-89°C vs -79°C for CO₂) so faster freeze cycles. CO₂ is more available + cheaper cylinder. For most dermatology work either is fine; cervical cryotherapy typically uses N₂O for the depth of freeze needed.

What's the difference vs the 5-Probe Cryogun ($799)?

Our other Cryogun with 5 Probes ($799) ships with 5 interchangeable specialty probes (cervical, dermatology, ENT, anorectal, oral) — better for multi-specialty practices. This variant ships as the gun body only, add probes separately for specialties you actually treat.

Beware duplicates?

Yes — market has many low-cost lookalikes without proper hypodermic-grade internal gas flow paths (leak-prone, short-lived). Original SciMed / SciMed Scientific Industries manufacturer construction with hypodermic-needle-grade internal flow paths, silencer-equipped (silencer variants), ABS ergonomic body.

What's the warranty?

1-year against manufacturing defects. Consumables (probes, gas seals) covered 90 days.
