Frequently asked questions
Is this a cardiology-grade stethoscope?
It's a single-head tunable stethoscope suitable for routine adult auscultation, med-school clinical rotations, and primary care. For high-end cardiology work (subtle murmurs, pediatric detail work), a dedicated dual-head cardiology scope is a better fit — email us for our cardiology models.
How do I use the tunable diaphragm?
Press lightly for high-frequency sounds (normal breath, S1/S2). Press firmly for low-frequency sounds (S3, S4, murmurs, bruits). No bell/diaphragm flip needed.
Are replacement ear tips + diaphragm included?
Yes. Every unit ships with 2 spare ear tips and 1 spare diaphragm.
Which color should I pick?
Personal preference. Red is the most visible (common in teaching kits); blue and grey read more professional in patient-facing settings.
