Lissamine green 1.5 mg ophthalmic strips for conjunctival and corneal staining. Lissamine green selectively stains devitalized cells (unlike fluorescein, which stains epithelial defects), making it the gold standard for dry eye assessment, ocular surface evaluation, and contact lens-related conjunctival staining. Sterile, individually wrapped, 100 strips per box, 15-box bulk lot.
Clinical applications
- Dry eye disease (DED) assessment — conjunctival and corneal vital staining
- Lid-parallel conjunctival folds (LIPCOF) evaluation
- Contact lens-related conjunctival staining
- Ocular surface disease grading
- Sjögren’s syndrome ocular workup
- Filamentary keratitis identification
Why clinicians choose lissamine green
- Stains devitalized cells — reveals damaged epithelium that fluorescein misses
- Better tolerated by patients than rose bengal (less stinging)
- Bulk box lot pricing — economical for high-volume eye clinics
- Sterile individual wrap — hygienic, single-use per patient

How to use
Moisten the green strip tip with sterile saline. Touch to the lower palpebral conjunctiva or fornix. Each strip is single-use and should be discarded after one application.
