Hand-crank tops out around 2,000 RPM. It's a targeted tool for low-infrastructure and portable-medicine use cases.

NO — centrifuge only. Vacutainer tubes must be sourced separately (we also stock 3.2% sodium citrate Vacutainers). 15 mL glass conical or Wintrobe tubes fit the bucket sockets.
What's the RCF (g-force)?
At 2,000 RPM with typical bucket swing radius (~8 cm), RCF ≈ 358 × g. Sufficient for serum separation (typically requires 1,000-2,000 × g × 10 min in electric, or 500-800 × g × 15-20 min manual). Adjust spin time to compensate for lower g-force.
