How to Clean a Ring Pessary

- Rinse under warm running water immediately
- Apply a small amount of mild, unscented soap
- Gently rub all surfaces
- Rinse thoroughly — ensure no soap residue remains
- Pat dry with a clean cloth
- Inspect for any cracks or discolouration
Weekly Sterilisation
- Place the pessary in a small saucepan of clean water
- Bring to a full boil
- Boil for 3–5 minutes
- Remove with clean tongs
- Allow to cool completely before reinsertion or storage
Never use alcohol, bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or harsh disinfectants — these degrade medical-grade silicone.
