How to Clean a Ring Pessary

  5. Rinse thoroughly — ensure no soap residue remains
  6. Pat dry with a clean cloth
  7. Inspect for any cracks or discolouration

  1. Place the pessary in a small saucepan of clean water
  2. Bring to a full boil
  3. Boil for 3–5 minutes
  4. Remove with clean tongs
  5. Allow to cool completely before reinsertion or storage

Never use alcohol, bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or harsh disinfectants — these degrade medical-grade silicone.
