Pessary Sizing Protocol

Fitting Technique
- Apply water-based lubricant to the pessary and vaginal introitus
- Fold the pessary in half lengthwise
- Insert with the leading edge directed posteriorly toward the sacrum
- Advance until the pessary is above the pubic symphysis
- Allow the ring to unfold and assess position
- Check that one finger can be passed between the pessary and vaginal wall
- Ask the patient to stand, walk, and perform a Valsalva manoeuvre
